We’re on Mimiron?

By Whirt | April 29, 2009

So I’ve been slacking putting our progression up here. Ulduar has been fun so far - not a pushover like Naxx but not particularly difficult either. After 2 weeks of raiding we are pretty solidly into phase 4 Mimiron, which means we should be on Yogg sometime this week! I’ll post a Yogg screenshot once we get him, and then of course the big challenge is hard modes and Algalon. Great work in Ulduar folks, I’ve had a blast learning these fights.

I don’t have a screenshot of Thorim, but he was our most recent kill.

Then there was Freya - fun fight, we learned the adds in about 4-5 pulls, and once that happens you just kind of win.
Freya

Right before Freya was Hodir, he was surprisingly simple as long as you can survive his 40K frost damage on the MT.
Hodir

Auriaya proved a bit rough for us, I don’t know why since it seemed easier the next time we saw her.
Auriaya

Kolgarn was a two-shot. What a joke of a boss.
Kologarn

Council wasn’t too tough either, once Ed figured out how to interrupt.
Iron Council

XT gave us some minor problems because I was too stubborn to assign people to scrap piles. One-shot after I got over myself of course.
XT

And the final screenshot was Ignis. This was pre-nerf, so the fight was actually like, hard. I didn’t screenshot Leviathan since he just falls over dead and Razorscale didn’t seem remarkable at all either. I think we may have been one of the first guilds on Lightbringer to get Ignis but that’s because the smarter guilds just skipped him.
